Combining Creativity and Technology to Build a Vibrant Website

Recently, I had the privilege of creating a website for my sister Alix’s business, Sunshine Therapy Solutions, and we at Arcane Partners are thrilled to share the final result!

A Little About Alix

Alix has been a paediatric occupational therapist for over 10 years, dedicating her career to helping neurodiverse children and their families thrive. Beyond her professional work, she volunteers with vulnerable children both locally and abroad. I’m incredibly proud of her and all she’s achieved.

Sunshine Therapy Solutions

After having her own child and navigating the challenges brought on by COVID, Alix adapted her work to become more tech-forward and created Sunshine Therapy Solutions. She now integrates telehealth services and online tools such as Social Cipher—a social-emotional learning program designed as an engaging video game.

Our Goal for the Website

The aim was to showcase the creative approach Alix brings to paediatric occupational therapy. By using custom graphics and responsive design, we planned to create a vibrant, user-friendly site that highlighted her services and how they support neurodiverse children and their families in innovative ways.

The Process

The journey began with workshops to discuss needs and requirements. From there, we built a prototype and followed an iterative design and development process. Through regular feedback sessions, we fine-tuned every detail. This process was very successful and allowed us to complete the website in under 50 hours.

The Outcome

We built a fun, one-page website with clear navigation to ensure users could get the right information easily. To make it more convenient, we integrated a user-friendly content management system (CMS), enabling Alix to update the website’s content and manage it entirely on her own without needing to reach out to us for changes. This empowers her to keep the site fresh and up to date while maintaining its professional design and layout.
